Our proposed idea for this project was to create a piece that functioned both as a hypothetical product design, as was the aim of the class (VIS 140 - User Interface Design Studies), and as a social commentary, as was our goal in our personal artistic careers.
     We feel that as technology progresses, personal privacy is slowly being eroded.  Our mobile phones track our locations, our grocery store “club” cards monitor statistics on what we buy, and our online presence is recorded down to every detail through our unique IP addresses.  Only a small portion of our daily life is our own. 
     As a reaction to this, we decided to create Cockwatch 3000.
